Brown Turkey Fig

Attractive garden tree. Tear-drop-shaped, medium to large reddish-brown and tinged with purple with a reddish-amber flesh. Very sweet but not as rich as a Celeste. Hardy tree that will continue bearing as long as produce is continually picked. Self-pollinating. Hardy zone 8-10, but can be successful in Zone 5. Low chill hours of 100 and low temp of 10F. Fast growing with 2 crops: First late May-June and second in late Sept-Nov.
