Flordahome Pear

Classical pear tree that is grown in the southeast. Round, golden green, smooth and juicy in texture. Taste is sweet and tangy. grows in any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun an can reach 25ft. tree tends to overbear and limbs often droop due to weight of fruit. Zone 8-10. Low chill hours of 150 and low temp 20F. Self fertile but larger crops when planted with another variety. Ripens late July to early August.
