Not consider a true lemon tree. This tree is a hybrid between and lemon and citron tree, but is grown similar to other lemon trees. Waxy dark green leaves and white blooms. Fruits produce year round with highly acidic large grapefruit size lemons. Peel is light yellow, thick and bumpy, and has very seedy flesh. Hardy in zones 9-11 and not freeze tolerant.
